Jon Spears

Jon Spears is set to begin his 5th year with our Organization this Fall. As Vice President and Director of Baseball Operations for 5 Star National Virginia Beach, Jon is responsible for overseeing all baseball operations amongst the teams, assisting coaches with practice plans, tryouts, player development, and creating new and innovative ideas for our staff and players to continue to get better.

Jon is a graduate of Salem High School and went on to become a 4 year starter at Radford University. After graduation, he coached at both Bayside and Salem High Schools in Virginia Beach, before taking a job with Virginia Wesleyan University as an Assistant Coach. In 2017, he joined our Organization and has helped our Organization grow to become the largest in Hampton Roads.
